Provides free and confidential health and human services information for people in Minnesota. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Housing Resource Center (Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation)

Mission is to preserve, improve and increase affordable housing for low and moderate income individuals and families, assist communities with housing revitalization as well as create and carry out demonstration projects.

Housing Benefits 101 (a service provided by Minnesota Department of Human Services)

Housing information including resources specifically for older adults, people with disabilities, and the homeless. 

Saint Paul Department of Planning and Economic Development

The Housing Division of the Saint Paul Department of Planning and Economic Development (PED) works directly with the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) to administer a wide variety of housing programs and financial resources.

Alliance Housing

Alliance builds and manages quality, affordable housing for people with very low incomes or who need a 2nd chance, including those with criminal backgrounds.

Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities serves the poorest and most vulnerable members of the community. They adapt and respond to the needs of the community and focus their attention where it is most needed. They work to prevent poverty before it takes hold, meet basic needs in times of crisis, and create pathways out of poverty.

Tenants may speak with a tenant advocate who will provide free advice regarding Minnesota landlord/tenant law.

Statewide list of affordable rental vacancies and information about Section 8 programs. HousingLink is a nonprofit organization with a website where low-to-moderate income renters can find affordable rental housing options with accessible features. The website also has educational resources about the rental housing process.

Lutheran Social Service

LSS operates a Housing Resource at (612) 879-5266. LSS is also a provider of transitional, supportive, and permanent scattered-site housing, but requires referrals.
