Free eBooks are now available from Candid on topics such as fundraising, nonprofit boards, nonprofit law, proposal writing, etc.
A physical library card is not required. Just go to the Candid’s library catalog, the Catalog of Nonprofit Literature, and create an account. This will generate a 6-digit library card.
Users are limited to two books at a time, and the borrowing period is 14 days. The ebooks can be read via the Libby app.
If you use Libby to check out Saint Paul Public Library ebooks already, click on the Libby icon in the upper right, then "Add A Library". Type in "candid" for library name, then click on Candid. You can use the Libby icon to toggle back and forth between Candid and any public library accounts you have.
