The Saint Paul Public Schools teacher strike has come to a resolution, but school is still closed today, Friday, March 13. Join us for the final day of Cherie Dimaline's visit to Saint Paul! We hope readers of all ages can still join us at two events with Cherie Dimaline, which are free and open to the public. Don't miss the free pizza for youth at George Latimer Central Library starting at 12:30 p.m.

  • 10:30 a.m. Author Talk at Sun Ray Library (2105 Wilson Ave.)
  • 1-4 p.m. Free meal served for youth 18 and under at Conway Rec Center
  • 12:30 p.m. Free pizza served for youth at George Latimer Central Library
  • 1:30 p.m. Author Talk at George Latimer Central Library (90 W 4th St.) 

THURSDAY, MARCH 12

The Saint Paul Public Schools teacher strike will continue tomorrow, Thursday, March 12. We hope readers of all ages can still join us at two events tomorrow with Cherie Dimaline, which are free and open to the public.

  • 12 p.m. Free meal served for youth 18 and under at Rice Street Library
  • 1 p.m. Author Talk at Rice Street Library (1011 Rice Street)
  • 7 p.m. The public event at Arlington Hills Community Center (1200 Payne Ave) will continue as originally scheduled.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11

1:30 p.m. Rondo Community Library Visit

Cherie visited Rondo Community Library and met fans from Avalon School who were eager to get their books signed.

School is closed today, but you can still meet Cherie Dimaline at Saint Paul Public Library! Please join us at one of these FREE, public events today. We will announce contingency plans for additional days of Cherie's visit if the SPPS strike continues beyond Wednesday.
