Hayden Heights
Saint Paul Public Library is co-creating, with the community, a vision to transform Hayden Heights Library.
Update on Hayden Heights Library
While Hayden Heights Library is temporarily closed for renovations, pop-up events and an additional Mobile Library stop will be coming to the neighborhood. In order to plan these programs, we would like to hear from you. Your responses will guide what programs we offer, when we offer them, and who we're designing them for.
If you weren’t able to make it to the in-person community meeting on March 10, please share your preferences on the survey below:

April 2, 2026 Update
Hayden Heights Library is now temporarily closed for renovation with construction expected to begin in April. Stahl Construction is the project’s general contractor.Â
On March 10, Hayden Heights Councilmember Nelsie Yang, SPPL staff, and community members gathered at Hayden Heights to discuss ways to continue providing library services while Hayden Heights is temporarily closed for renovations. Community members places dots on a map to share where they would like to see the Mobile Library stop or Library events planned in the area.Â
