Teens Know Best book club selected nationally as a Teens’ Top 10 group

The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) has selected 15 public and school libraries

The Teens’ Top Ten is a booklist created entirely by and for teens.  These 15 groups will nominate books published in a calendar year to create the official Teens’ Top Ten nominations. Then, teen voters across the country cast ballots for their favorites, creating the Teens’ Top Ten. Final nominations for each year's Teens’ Top Ten vote will be posted online each April during National Library Week at www.ala.org/teenstopten

In addition to creating the official Teens’ Top Ten nominations, the groups also evaluate books for publishers.  More than 30 publishers provide advanced reading copies to teen book discussion groups in libraries and in exchange, teen readers evaluate them.
