What's New?
The SPPL App is completely redesigned from the ground up, offering a more intuitive, user-friendly experience. With the app, you can:
- Search the catalog for books, movies, music, and more
- Browse upcoming events and add them to your calendar
- Place holds and manage your checkouts just like you do on our website
- Use your digital library card to check out items at self-check machines
- Read the latest news, blog posts, and featured item lists
- Link multiple library cards to manage family accounts all in one place
Wherever you are, the new SPPL App keeps your library within reach.
What about the old app?
The previous version of the SPPL app—featuring the orange-and-red color scheme and our old logo—will stop working after April 30, 2025. It will not automatically update, so a new download is required.
You can tell if you're still using the old app by the design. If it has the old branding, it's time to switch! There's a helpful link near the top of the old app’s home screen that directs you to download the new version.
