Read Brave uses the power of stories to build awareness and empathy on a theme relevant to our Saint Paul community. Read Brave connects readers of all ages to one another through the five books, their authors, programs, activities, and calls to action.
The theme for 2021 is Owning Our Stories: Rising Together for a Better Saint Paul. We will center the conversations around self-worth, healing, reconciliation, liberation, and accountability as they relate to the characters and BIPOC authors in our Read Brave programs.
