Borrow the Internet

Saint Paul residents can check out a wireless internet hotspot for free, high-speed Internet service.

Borrower Eligibility

Borrowers must have a Saint Paul Public Library card.

Borrowers must be a resident of the City of Saint Paul.

Borrowers can have no more than $10 in fines or fees owed to the library.

Borrowers must sign a Loan Agreement form at checkout.

If under 18, a borrower must have a parent or caretaker sign a Loan Agreement form at checkout.

How to Borrow

Hotspots circulate from Rondo and Merriam Park Libraries.

Hotspots can be put on hold and picked up at other Saint Paul Public Library locations.

Check the catalog to see if a hotspot is available or place a hold on one.

Loan Terms

Hotspots can be checked out for one week.

No renewals.

A late fee of $1/day is charged.

A $50 replacement fee is billed after a hotspot is 18 days overdue.

Internet service will be turned off if a hotspot is overdue.
