Big changes are ahead for one of St. Paul's most overlooked libraries.
The Hayden Heights Library on White Bear Avenue will close March 25 for 18 months of major renovations. Construction, which is expected to begin this spring, will add large front windows to better connect the library to the neighborhood, as well as a new community room with movable walls to accommodate programming such as story hours, author readings and large group meetings.
