Don Allen, M.A. Ed./MAT is a dual masters graduate of Hamline University and is currently enrolled in Minnesota State University, Moorhead's 18-Online program taking graduate courses in Communications.
Mr. Allen is an English teacher at Humboldt High School in St. Paul, Minnesota who teaches AP Literature and Composition, Journalism, Public Speaking (concurrent enrollment-MNSU, Mankato), Writing (College in the Schools-University of Minnesota), and is passionate about writing, reading, curriculum creation, design, and schoolwide vertical alignment using blended learning, self-paced structures, and mastery-based grading. Don says, "The public library is one of the most important institutions we have in education."
