Checkouts, holds, wish lists, and star ratings were transferred to the new collection.
Reading history, recommendations, and tags made in Libby were not transferred.
E-Magazines Have Moved to the Twin Cities Metro eLibrary
E-magazines are now available in OverDrive and the Libby app.
Access to cloudLibrary will end in early 2021
E-books and e-audiobooks currently available in cloudLibrary will be moving to OverDrive.
These titles will then be available in OverDrive's "Libby" app and on the OverDrive website.
This change will be taking place no earlier than late April 2021. We will have at least 30 days notice of the end of the cloudLibrary service and will publicize that date as soon as we know it.
Please note that holds will not transfer over from cloudLibrary to OverDrive. To minimize the impact of this, holds in cloudLibrary will be decreased to 1 hold per patron on January 19.
When the cloudLibrary service ends, any checked-out items will not transfer to OverDrive and will no longer be available in the cloudLibrary app.
You Can Start Using Libby Today!
Download the Libby app, opens a new window for your iOS or Android device to get started.
Don't Leave Your cloudLibrary Holds and Saved Items Behind!
Unfortunately, your holds and borrowing history from cloudLibrary will not transfer to the new service.
Go to "My Books" in the cloudLibrary app and check your Holds, History, and Saved items for any titles you will want to remember when you move to OverDrive.
If you like, use this worksheet to write down your holds or any other titles in your History or Saved Items that you would like to remember for use in OverDrive.
Then, download the Libby app or visit the OverDrive website to re-place any holds or check out e-books.
