The library's e-book, e-audiobook, and e-magazine collection are moving from three platforms to one.
Access to cloudLibrary will end in early 2021
In the first quarter of 2021, the e-books and e-audiobooks currently available in cloudLibrary will be moving to OverDrive. These titles will then be available in OverDrive's "Libby" app and on the OverDrive website. This change will be taking place no earlier than late January 2021.
Please note that holds will not transfer over from cloudLibrary to OverDrive. To minimize the impact of this, holds in cloudLibrary will be decreased to 1 hold per patron on January 19.
You Can Start Using OverDrive Today!
Download the Libby app for your iOS or Android device to get started.
Don't Leave Your Holds and Saved Items Behind!
OverDrive will be a fresh start for cloudLibrary users. Your holds and borrowing history will not transfer to the new service.
Go to "My Books" in the cloudLibrary app and check your Holds, History, and Saved items for any titles you will want to remember when you move to OverDrive.
If you like, use this worksheet to write down your holds or any other titles in your History or Save Items that you would like to remember for use in OverDrive.
Watch for Updates
We will be updating this page with specific dates and more details as we learn them.
ONE APP, MORE CHOICES
With the Libby app from OverDrive, you can read across multiple devices, listen in your car, download titles for offline reading and listening, and send books to your Kindle.
E-Magazines Will Also Move to OverDrive and the Libby App
E-magazine service from RBDigital will end on January 31, 2021.
E-magazines will be available in OverDrive and the Libby app beginning February 1, 2021.
When all the updates have been made, e-books, e-audiobooks, and e-magazines will all be available in the Libby app.
In the end, the Libby app will be your one-stop spot for e-books, e-audiobooks, and e-magazines.
