We are cautiously phasing in open locations. Visit our Library Express page for updates on services available, locations, and what to expect when you arrive.
You will be notified when your items are ready to be picked up.
Please call the library at 651-266-7000 to have your items placed in a locker.
We will check out your items and place them in a hold locker in the RiverCentre Connection tunnel below 4th Street in front of the library.
Skyways and the tunnel are open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Go to the kiosk at the locker station and follow the instructions on the screen.
Swipe your library card through the reader or enter the last 7 digits of your library card number on the keypad.
The door to the locker with your items will pop open.
Your items are already checked out, so all you need to do is take them out of the locker and shut the door.
Call the library 651-266-7000 with any questions.
Contactless pickup of held items is by appointment only.
You will be contacted by email or by telephone when you have items that are ready to be picked up.
Items will be held for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, they will be moved on to the next patron waiting for them.
Your items will be checked out to you on the day of your pick-up appointment. Most items will be checked out for 4 weeks (exceptions: mobile hotpspots (1 week) and Book Club in a Bag kits (6 weeks).
Items will be packaged and placed in the numbered pick-up space chosen when the appointment was made.
Pick-up appointments can be made a minimum of 2 hours before the requested pick-up time. Appointments can be made up to 10 days in advance.
Please remain at least 6 feet away from other patrons and/or staff members when picking items up at the library.
