The testing season has arrived, and the library is here to support you! Check out the top 5 FREE resources that can help support you as your prepare take the ACT, SAT, PSAT, or GED exam.

1 - Learning Express Library – Has over 1,000 tutorials, practice tests, and ebooks.

Learning Express School Center:
For elementary to high school students, the Learning Express School Center has a selection of subjects and topic practice tests that you can do online from Geography to Math. There are also free ebooks on Math and English that you can download for middle & high school students.

Learning Express College Admissions & Test Preparation:
Applying for college? Learning Express has tutorials and practice tests for the ACT, SAT, & PSATs! There are also tutorials and practice tests for those planning to take the AP or TOEFL exams.

2 - Brainfuse HELPNOW – Skill Surfer

Reading, writing, history, and math practice for grades 3 to 12. Skill Surfer also offers free GED & college test preparation exams (ACT, SAT, etc.). You can also stop by for some online homework help! Tutors are available every day of the week from 1 – 11 p.m.

3 - Britannica School

For both children and adults, the Britannica School has tons of articles, videos, and biographies for your research project or paper. The reference center has tools and step by step guides to help you get started on that research paper too!

4 - Breathing Techniques from WebMD

The testing season can be stressful, but don’t forget to take care of yourself too! Here are some stress relief breathing techniques to help before, during, and after the test!

5 - Create a playlist on YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, or Pandora while you study for those exams!
