If you are looking to get started on learning a new skill, or want to brush up on technologies you have learned in the past, Lynda.com is a great place to start for easy-to-use video tutorials.
Thousands of courses are available. Experts teach you about Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, web design, digital video and audio, and much more!
Getting Started
Follow the link to Lynda.com from the library's website, opens a new window.
Enter your library card number (with no spaces between the numbers) and use your library password or PIN.
Lynda.com is free for you to use with your library card. You can take as many classes and tutorials as you like! The library's contract with Lynda.com allows up to 75 people to use the service at the same time. If 75 people are using Lynda.com simultaneously, any additional users will need to wait until one of the current users logs out. (The service is popular, but we don't think this has happened to us yet!)
Tutorial
A brief tutorial on using Lynda.com through the library is available.
