Getting to downtown may be difficult this summer — here’s what you need to know!

Getting to downtown Saint Paul—and the George Latimer Central Library—may be a challenge this summer! Driving and parking will be more difficult:

  • Rice Park reconstruction will eliminate three sides of on-street parking on Rice Park through fall 2018.
  • Roadwork on westbound Kellogg Blvd. between Washington and West Seventh will result in the closure of the Kellogg Municipal Ramp from July 30 to September 30.
  • River Centre Ramp is also closed indefinitely due to the deteriorating condition of the structure.
  • See River Centre’s press release about parking options they suggest: http://www.rivercentre.org/exhibit/parking-transportation

Buses and trains run to downtown Saint Paul! Most current schedule information for all lines is in the front lobby near the door to the Bremer Room at the George Latimer Central Library. Or get schedule and route information online at https://www.metrotransit.org/.
