Bookflix: Video Storybooks and More

Watch a video. Have some fun. And learn along the way!

Bookflix pairs short animated videos of favorite storybooks (everything from The Snowy Day and Click, Clack, Moo to Harry the Dirty Dog and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom) with a nonfiction e-book on a similar subject.

Watch The Snowy Day and then learn all about winter. View Click, Clack, Moo and then find out about life on a dairy farm.

There are more than 120 pairs available to watch and to read. And best of all, you can watch them at home or anywhere! All you need is your library card number to log in start watching.

The fiction and nonfiction pairings are designed to strengthen early literacy skills while exposing young learners to real-world concepts. Each pair includes puzzles and links to related kid-friendly websites. For educators: each book pairing also includes lesson plans to help you use BookFlix in the classroom!
