About Pop Up Saint Paul

Pop Up Saint Paul is a project that grew out of an original project by City Artist’s Amanda Lovelee, an artistically retrofitted city truck that unfolds as Saint Paul’s front porch to engage communities and customize civic meetings based on place and stakeholder needs. Pop Up Meeting has been handing out locally made popsicles since 2015 in exchange for residents' ideas and dreams while increasing diversity and participation in Saint Paul’s urban planning process.

This summer we are bringing the power to the people by making the original Pop Up Meeting available to community groups and organizations through an easy application process.  We are also joining forces with the Saint Paul Public Library to create a whole new way to gather and access to tools to make change possible!   Check out all three sizes of Pop Up St Paul.

Pop Up Meeting Saint Paul

In early June we awarded 10 organizations an opportunity to have the popsicle truck attend their community events. It will come filled with 100 locally made popsicles, custom surveys, and our well trained engagement coordinator.
