October is Teen Read Down month at the Saint Paul Public Library!
Teens can eliminate $1 in fines for every 15 minutes of reading in the library
During the month of October, Saint Paul Public Library will once again offer a Read Down for teens. During the Read Down, anyone ages 12-18 can read away library fines and fees. For every 15 minutes reading in the library, you get one dollar off in fines.
"We want to make the library as accessible as possible for everyone," said Saint Paul Public Library Director, Jane Eastwood. "Particularly for our youth, we want them to feel empowered to come into the library and enjoy our programs and materials."
Teens can read down fines at all Saint Paul Public Library locations in October. Connect with your local librarian to learn more about fine forgiveness at the library.
