Rondo Library Renovation

The Rondo Library is closed for renovations.

The Rondo Library will reopen in October 2017.

The bookdrop will remain open during the renovation.

If Rondo is your pick-up location, please log in to your library account to redirect your hold requests to another SPPL location. If you need assistance, contact library staff.

Items that do not have a new location chosen will be automatically sent to the Hamline Midway Library.

Library Services

When the Rondo Library reopens, the homework center, Reading Together, and Open Door Learning Center programs will begin. Homework Centers at other library locations will open September 5.

Reading Together applications will be taken starting September 18. Parents who wish to have their student meet at Rondo can expect a later start this year.

Project Timeframe

The Rondo Library is busiest during the school year due to its extensive homework help services, so we have planned the project for the summer.

While the Rondo Library is closed, other library branches, including Hamline-Midway and Rice Street, will assume some of the Rondo Library's programming, and the Bookmobile will increase service in the Summit-University and Thomas-Dale neighborhoods.
